Refund & Cancellation Policy
Smart Skill Institute – Online Course App
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Course Purchases
When a user purchases a course, access to the digital learning content may be activated after successful payment confirmation.
Users are therefore requested to verify the course title, description, price and other relevant details before completing the purchase.
2. Cancellation
Because our courses contain digital educational content, a completed purchase generally cannot be cancelled after course access has been activated or the digital content has been accessed.
3. Refund Eligibility
A refund request may be considered in circumstances such as:
- Payment was deducted but the course was not activated due to a technical problem.
- The same course payment was accidentally processed more than once.
- A payment was successfully completed but the corresponding service could not be provided.
- Another genuine payment or technical issue is verified by Smart Skill Institute.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided merely because:
- The user changed their mind after receiving access to the course.
- The user no longer wishes to continue the course.
- The user failed to use the purchased course during its applicable access period.
- The user shared, misused or violated the conditions of access to the course.
5. How to Request a Refund
For an eligible payment issue, contact Smart Skill Institute with the following information:
- Registered name
- Registered mobile number or email
- Course name
- Payment amount
- Transaction/payment ID
- Date of payment
- Reason for the refund request
6. Review of Refund Requests
Refund requests are reviewed based on payment records, course access records and the circumstances of the transaction.
We may request additional information where necessary to verify the transaction.
7. Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed using an appropriate available payment method. The time required for the refunded amount to appear may also depend on the bank, payment provider or payment method.
8. Failed or Pending Payments
If an amount is debited but the transaction shows as failed or pending, users should first allow the bank or payment service provider's normal reconciliation process to complete.
If the issue remains unresolved, contact us with the transaction details so that the payment can be reviewed.
